3D Mapping, VSLAM
& Perception Systems
MobileRobots
bases, with our ARIA API, integrate with twin lasers and
top-of-the-line stereocams for the most precise mapping, navigation and
perception research systems available ready to jump-start your next
publication. For your convenience, ARIA is supplied in source code
under GPL for Linux or WIN.
2D+3D
SLAM / VSLAM & Perception
PatrolBot with Twin Lasers & Stereovision
The 2D+3D SLAM/VSLAM Perception PatrolBot combines the smooth,
high-speed drive of a Research
PatrolBot with onboard PC, gyroscopically corrected encoders and
twin lasers (the horizontal LMS 200 is hidden under the sonar ring) and
your choice of stereocams. For best quality range-finding and
navigation work, we recommend the B&W
Superior Stereovision system with an FPGA for embedded processing
of ranging data. If you require color for object recognition, tracking
or other perceptual work, we recommend the Color
Digital Stereovision system, which processes on the robot's
embedded PC or your laptop. Either way, you will receive range-finding
data as well as images. You will have out-of-the-box Laser Mapping
& Navigation in 2D, with ARNL and Mapper3 software, plus, your
robot will arrive ready for work on your own 3D or 2D mapping
algorithms from twin lasers, enabled in ARIA, for instant access and
fusion with stereo imaging data.
2D+3D SLAM PatrolBot with Twin Lasers (not
shown)
The 2D+3D SLAM Research
System combines the smooth, high-speed drive of a Research
PatrolBot
with onboard PC, gyroscopically corrected encoders and twin lasers (the
horizontal LMS 200 is hidden under the sonar ring). You
will have out-of-the-box Laser Mapping
& Navigation
in 2D, with ARNL and Mapper3 software, plus, your robot will be ready
for work on your own 3D mapping software with twin lasers, enabled in
ARIA, for instant data access.

VSLAM Mapping & Perception Research Systems
A VSLAM system can be as simple as one fixed camera on an AmigoBot,
for classroom work with Open Source libraries or as sophisticated as a Research
PatrolBot, Pioneer
DX, AT
or PeopleBot
with stereovision, which includes both range-finding and image data. For best quality
range-finding and navigation work, we
recommend the robot of your choice with B&W
Superior Stereovision
system with an FPGA for embedded processing of ranging data. If you
require color for object recognition, tracking or other perceptual
work, we recommend the Color
Digital Stereovision
system, which processes on the robot's embedded PC or your laptop.
Either way, you will receive range-finding data as well as images for
use from your VSLAM and perception software.
VSLAM Mapping & Perception Research is compatible with any
MobileRobots base. BW and Color Stereovision systems available with
any robot except AmigoBot. PTZ camera systems
available with any robot except AmigoBot. Single camera fixed or
manual-tilt mounts available with any robot.

stereocams. For best quality range-finding and navigation work, we
recommend the B&W
Superior Stereovision
system with an FPGA for embedded processing of ranging data. If you
require color for object recognition, tracking or other perceptual
work, we recommend the Color
Digital Stereovision
system, which processes on the robot's embedded PC or your laptop.
Either way, you will receive range-finding data as well as
images. You
will have out-of-the-box Laser Mapping
& Navigation
in 2D, with ARNL and Mapper3 software, plus, your robot will arrive
ready for work on your own 3D or 2D mapping algorithms from fused laser
and stereovision sensors, enabled in ARIA, for instant data access. May
be ordered with any MobileRobots base, except AmigoBot. |
