Our new 3-D Sweeping Laser
Rangefinder provides data for 2.5- and 3-D imaging for use in
perception and navigation research and for sophisticated positive and
negative obstacle avoidance.
The Sweeping Laser
combines an LMS 200 Laser-Rangefinder attached to 2dof pan-tilt joint
with software drivers for each plus libraries with an example
demonstrating 3D obstacle avoidance. The Sweeping
Laser is integrated into ARIA for control and data collection. Sweeping
Laser data can be used in custom
2.5-D and 3-D mapping and navigation.
