PowerBot Dock/Charge System  The PowerBot Dock/Charge System includes 2 parts: the Robot-Side Dock/Charger and the Free-standing Dock/Charge Station.

The Dock/Charge Station contains a metal plate "floating" on springs to align power contacts to pass current from the dock to the Robot-Side Dock/Charger contact. The Dock/Charge Station includes a 25-amp, three stage charger that is capable of optimally charging the PowerBot's batteries with robot power on or off. A current meter, indicator light, and emergency stop switch on the Dock/Charge Station provide feedback and control over  charging. A logic-level switch indicates to the PowerBot when it has successfully docked.
  • FAST-CHARGING: Smart electronics charge robots at full-capacity regardless of the power draw from PC, laser and other accessories - yet batteries are protected against overcharging
  • RELIABLE: Our system, including the retractable contact plate, is guaranteed for one year, which is thousands of charges. Optional 2-year warranty. 
  • PORTABLE CONVENIENCE: Lightweight design and robot intelligence allows the floor-side charging system to be plugged in beside nearly any wall and re-located in minutes. 
  • FULLY INTEGRATED: Calls from Advanced Robotics Interface for Applications (ARIA) can begin the auto-docking process on any PowerBot with Laser-Mapping and Navigation. Typically these calls are initiated upon low battery status and upon task completion. Dock appears as a goal in Laser Maps.
